163 Royalty-Free Audio Tracks for "Radio Effects"

Recorded from a siemens kleinsuper a8 tube-driven radio. Those devices were sold in 1958 and 1959. Recorded with a t. Bone sc450 condenser over a behringer ddx3216 digital console into ardour. The sample has been normalized. This sample was recorded from the defective medium wave section of the radio. It contains mostly dark hum and rumbling.

Noises from an old gdr tube radio (1966, oberon) when tuning through mw, lw and ukw bands. I tried to separate the different noises and let them be heard for a few seconds so you can edit the noises you need. First there's lw, then mw then a few noises from buttons on the radio then ukw at the end with fragments of some german radio stations in 2021.

Idea for a base for a radio bumper. I found another track in which someone had said, "du bist der hörer. Wir sind das radio. " so i recorded myself repeating these sentences, which translate from german into english as, "you are the listener. We are the radio. " i also overlaid it over a track of generated sine waves, one in each channel (l-r), chosen to be discordant (like a radioactive effect). Sine waves are 10. 5 seconds, i left 4. 5 seconds at the end to overlay your content (maybe an ident or whatever). Have fun!. A solo violin sample from edirol orchestral was used a base, using pitch bend and then layering against pitch shifted copies of the original. Disclaimer: this may be loud. Check your volume. This sound is an experiment i did for a short film my crew and i are working on. I wanted to see if i could make a warning effect like the civil defense messages that play on the radio for storms and other emergencies, so i recorded my voice, and pitched it down, equalized it, put it through a high pass filter and lo and behold, i think it sounds pretty darn close. I then coupled it with a couple alert tones from my local noaa / nssl station and this sound was born. This effect could be used for an apocalyptic scenario or civil unrest, riots, looting, or anything else you desire. Not required, but it would be cool to hear if you use it for anything. Enjoy!.
